The protection of County assets is my number one goal.
I will return responsibility and accountability to the office of San Mateo County Treasurer-Tax Collector.
As head of the County Treasury, it will be my task to collect and carefully manage all the revenue to which the County is entitled. From our schools to our hospitals to our courts, every agency in San Mateo County depends on the careful financial management of the County Treasurer. I will find new efficiencies across all our departments and help every office better deliver the services we all depend on.
This community cannot afford to ever again lose our hard-earned money to mismanagement. I will work every day to give the County of San Mateo the financial stability it deserves.
